The company now known as Responsive Services International Corporation was incorporated as Data Enterprises, Incorporated on August 1, 1983.

The mission of the company was to provide after-market services and support to both the old mainframe/microcomputer world and the new world of microchip based PC's.

In 1989, the name of the corporation was changed to Responsive Services International Corporation (RSI) to more accurately reflect the nature of the business

By 1994, RSI had offices in Lubbock, El Paso, and Amarillo and had clients located from the Oklahoma Panhandle south to Juarez, Mexico.
